At Nova Eye Care Center, our primary goal is to provide you with quality and thorough eye care services with the latest technology. We are here to help you see better. The Optometrist will assess the health of your eyes to screen for eye diseases. The eye exam generally includes a measurement and prescription for glasses when necessary. We also offer complete contact lens care and Lasik co-management as well as treatment of eye diseases, glaucoma management, cataracts, diabetic eye evaluation and other eye emergencies. We accept adults and children patients ages 5 and up.
Comprehensive Eye Exam
Comprehensive eye exam is a thorough assessment of your visual health by an optometrist along with the determination of a prescription for glasses if necessary. You will also be screened for any eye disorders such as allergies, dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes. This usually involves dilation of the pupils, which will results in blurry vision at near and light sensitivity for a few hours. Vision screenings that are performed by a school nurse or your employer are not the same as a comprehensive eye exam an eye doctor. A thorough eye exam by an optometrist is recommended every year even if you have no problems.
