Tina Vu Kelly, OD
Dr. Tina Vu Kelly (formerly known as Dr. Tina Vu) is the head Optometrist and owner of Nova Eye Care Center, LLC in Alexandria VA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dallas in 2003 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2007. She completed her optometry clinical training at the University Eye Institute in Houston, TX, the Veterans Affairs Hospital Eye Clinic in Albuquerque, NM and the Naval Health Clinic in Quantico, VA. She received extensive training in management and treatment of eye diseases, such as acute conjunctivitis (“pink eye”), stye, amblyopia (lazy eye), glaucoma, macula degeneration and diabetic eye care. She also received extensive training on managing eye injuries, such as corneal abrasion and foreign body removal. She also specializes in hard to fit contact lens cases for keratoconus and irregular corneas. Dr. Kelly continues to attend lectures and strive to always keep up-to-date on the newest and best treatments and technology to care for her patients.
Dr. Kelly moved to the Washington DC metro area from Dallas, TX in 2007 after graduating from Optometry school. She has been an optometrist in Alexandria VA, providing eye care and helping people see better, since 2007. Nancy Draskovic, OD
Dr. Nancy Draskovic provides part time coverage as an independent Optometrist at Nova Eye Care Center in Alexandria. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Canada in 1995 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 1999. She is well trained in primary eye care, treatment and management of eye diseases, contact lens fitting, and pre- and post-operative care for cataract and LASIK/PRK surgeries. She also co-manages cataract and LASIK surgery with Dr. Mark Schefkind, MD in Alexandria VA.
Tressa L Larson, OD
Dr. Tressa Larson provides part time coverage as an independent Optometrist at Nova Eye Care Center in Alexandria. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master degree from West Virginia University in 2004 and her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2011. She is well trained in providing comprehensive eye care, contact lens fitting, pre and post operation care for LASIK/PRK and cataract procedures, and evaluation and treatment of emergency and chronic eye diseases.
Robert W. Stetekluh, OD
Dr. Robert Stetekluh provides part time coverage as an independent Optometrist at Nova Eye Care Center. He grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1977. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from James Madison University in 1981 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in1985. He is well trained in providing comprehensive eye care, contact lens fitting, and evaluation and treatment of emergency and chronic eye diseases. After graduation, he returned to Northern Virginia and practice as an independent Optometrist in Alington next to Lenscrafter and a few private practices in this area. Dr. Stetekluh has performed eye examinations for the needy through the Gift of Sight program for many years and is a regular blood donor with American Red Cross.
